carefest | Caringacrossgen x culturestrike

I was given the chance to create both an illustration and content in collaboration with caringacrossgenerations for Carefest. The work and (inaugral) festival were centered around caretakers and givers - a celebration of sorts - as well as an award ceremony for folx who had made waves in the care space.

This one felt special - having newly experienced a change in capacity in my own family members, the mission felt relevant and especially fresh. I was happy to create an illustration that depicted empowered elders of all walks of life. I talk at length about the process on youtube.
