I was approached by Alumni Mag to create a portrait of Gayl Jones for her new(ish) book, Palmares. I was excited to take on the subject, as I enjoy making portraits - especially when the subject has little to no usable reference on the internet…I like a challenge! 💪🏽

I went to work with what I had and frankenstein’d together a few sketches that

would later be turned into a finished image that both the client and I were happy with.
